Search Engine Spiders/Robots will follow the set of rules defined by Robots.txt file and the Robots META. Typically we allow all spiders but if bandwidth is becoming an issue we can limit spiders related to images etc. We also restrict spiders from confidential pages like logins etc. As above this will try and reduce the flow of PR to non essential pages and reduce hacking attempts.
